There are numerous Interpretations on the "End Times". The prevailing one basically has the Anti-Christ fully revealed half way through the Tribulation. However, the alleged Dude is a known figure before being revealed.Dude basically comes back to Life ala Jesus style after having received a Mortal wound to the Head.

Unprecedented? Are you kidding? Were you asleep between 2000 and 2008? This same level of bullshit occurred then as it does now. And no, it wasn't small enclaves, but massive protests with just as much emotional rhetoric ranging from Bush=Hitler and other crazy shit.

Sadly, however, because it's the American right that's protesting, it's unprecedented. And that is true, the American right never has never really organized to protest before 2008.
