Brenda Brenda: It's a fact women are worse than men. Meaner, bitchier. Lots of them are moms... Your own freaking child? I don't think many women there will give her a warm welcome... 52% of abuse acts of children (reported) are done by women. Almost 90% of women get custody of the children after a divorce/separation. That's one of the reason i'm an anti-feminist.

The poor woman is mentally ill and can't help herself. She needs therapy, not prison. Since we live in a society dominated by men, it's not really her fault - some guy must have put her up to it.

I hope you are right Shep, otherwise maybe Andy can use his Twilight intro video for himself. Or just stfu and lock himself up in a mental ward, because obviously, thats where he belongs then...

Akhenaten Akhenaten: <pulls pin and throws grenade...>
I wonder what a man would get for this?
<runs away> A story in the Calgary Herald stated a man received 7 years for pretty much the same thing. Is there something wrong with that, you bet your ass there is, same crime, same sentence, male or female shouldn't matter.

The two examples that get me going are: a woman in Vanderhoof who stabbed her lover in the groin and watched him bleed to death got 2 years house arrest because "she didn't mean to do it, and she was sorry." Another woman stabbed her lover to death in a jealous, drunken rage got 3 years probation because she was native and she was taking alcohol treatment, so she had obviously reformed herself.

Society at all levels still has a problem with seeing women as they are: Human. Instead they view them as children who couldn't possibly be at fault, not completely. Like Andy's post earlier, "some guy must've put her up to it" is a typical excuse. The women in question hardly have to put up a defense at all: everyone else will rush to do it for them.

It's funny tho... We are supposed to be "superwoman", taking care of the kids we carried for 9 months, work a full time job and still do the chores at home, so daddy can do the fun stuff with the kids, because he "busts his ass off at work all day". I don't know, but how many of you men have scrubbed the toilet lately? (yeah, I know, off topic, but seriously, if you want to blame this on the way women in general are treated, don't forget this part)

(yeah, I know, off topic, but seriously, if you want to blame this on the way women in general are treated, don't forget this part) The research I've seen says that men and women spend about the same amount of hours of combined work and housework. The men spend a bit more time at their jobs, the women less so but more time at housework. Also, it's funny how many women assign things such as taking out the garbage, yardwork, home repairs, car repairs, etc, as men's work, but then still complain that he's not doing his fair share in the house. Plus of course the many women who see themselves the boss of the house and child rearing, things have to be done their way, so hubby is some sort of employee, rather than an equal partner.
