All in all I just feel it's over done, over rated and doesn't live up to the hype it's been given, I liked COD3 way better (but still found that one too short), really only a fan of sports games online, gimmie hockey or Fifa, I can play my friends and don't have to be verbally abused by a bunch of kids that do nothing but play.
I like shooters for one player or co-op and there needs to be consistancy instead of 1 really hard level and a bunch of mediocre ones.
They issued a sub par product in all, problem is everyone ate it up so now theres no need to raise the bar for the next in a series that should have died when they left the mold of the oler ones in the series.

Anyone seen anything on the new Wolfenstein???? Now that I can get into.

I didn't find the Rio level that hard. By the time you get to the last level you're better, so they could be equivalent difficulty, but you're faster in the last level than rio.

Eh, no. I just thought the level design was terrible. Every other level, before and after Rio, (I'm specifically referring to the one where you're running around in the slums alone, with assholes popping out of every window, right after you need to non-lethally take down an arms dealer) was easier to me, due to better level design.

I actually enjoyed that level. Yeah it was hard, but it was fun checking each window, each alley, making sure every living thing was dead.

I don't care for the story line, in fact I think it' lame with too much blah, blah, blah story telling and the airport level is just bizarre for a game. Could have easily been made part of the blah, blah story telling for the same end result. They are not consistent with keyboard controls which should be standard from one series to the next since that's the way they market them. I've been online gaming since COD2 and I can't figure out how to find a server of my choice to play on. It doesn't work with XFire although it tells you they're playing MW2. Steam is there for what?? Yet it must be installed to run the game.
The graphics are good, but you'd expect that with every new generation of game.

I liked the story telling, and compared to some games (Read MGS4) it's nothing. A good story goes a long way in my books, and I enjoyed this one. The airport level seems to be a big part, and I don't get why people hated it so much. It was kind of neat to play it from a side that is rarely if ever seen. I don't play it on PC, so can't comment on a lot of the rest. I didn't like the rest of the series because waves of guys just keep coming. This game that doesn't happen.

Opinion is opinion, there are lots of great games out there that warrant more attention than this one. I'll agree the graphics were great, and for the most part the gameplay was alright.
The story though, comeon.... I saw the betrayal long before it happened, and had to listen to a bunch of folks talk about the best knife kill in a game before I finished it.

Rio wasn't a good level, there is no way you can clear out all the enemies because they just keep comming, theres no end to them. The only way I got through it was when I figured I was tired of being popped from behind in a part I had already cleared, so next time I just ran through the level killing anyone in front of me. I found it the hardest level in the game but only becaues of the endless enemies and mssive fire comming at you, all other levels were a breeze compared whereas I'm used to games geting harder as you progress, not having the hardest level as the 3rd one in the game.

I'm just glad I borrowed it instead of buying.

I can't help getting the feeling that I've been ripped off by a company that does better in advertising campaigns than it does game development.

The game is too short for single player to be enjoyable, I'm no great gamer yet I'm done. There are to few players in Multi to make it really interesting and it seems that every time I join a game it's full of the same bunny hopping inbreds that almost ruined battlefield 2.

The only positive about the game is that the graphics are excellent, but what's the point if game play suffers. Personally I'd rather have good gameplay than flashy graphics anyday.

It's off to EB games to drop this giant dissapointment on that most famous heap of mediocrity, along with such other luminary games from the past like BF 2142 and MOH Pacific assault.

I guess like alot of other people I'll wait with for Bad Company 2 and hope they get it right this time.

The story telling is annoying but I wouldn't judge the game on that alone. I suppose if the rest of it was good then it would just be overlooked. The part about the airport is that no matter what you do the end result is the same. Fire one shot or no shots and you get the same ending and endure gratuitous slaughter in a game. The two biggest things that bug me about the game is that the keyboard controls are different and the online gaming experience is BRUTAL. I have a PS3 but I don't game on it so that may be different. The only reason I got the game was because others I've played COD2, COD4 and COD5 with said I should get it. I told them I hated COD4 but at least it was similar in it's use online. This is similar to COD4 and the online component stinks. I did the whole COD4 single player on PS3 and have only played the PC version with online servers.

I've got COD4 on the computer and I've played it for about 20 minutes, and not all at once. I've just started Empire: Total War and I'm enjoying it because I can play it at work

They weren't endless. At least not for me. Each "encounter" was generally 6 or 7 guys and you could move on. Previous CODs were different, the specifically changed it in this one.

The airplane level is to advance the story, and it can be skipped if you want. Again keyboard I can't comment on. The online experience for ps3 has been great for me. Yeah you get the annoying 12 year olds who scream into their mike, but I just mute them. just different tastes.
