Regina Regina:
My curiosity is actually one that stemmed from Pulp Fiction.

If I see John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson at a McD's it'll be time to quietly leave.

This is just sooooooooo tacky.

Only thing better would be the announcement that the kitchen staff will be dressed in Elvis suits.

Surprisingly, Euro-Disney is now one of Europe's most popular tourist destinations.

Wow. I stand corrected. I didn't even know it was still operating.

I thought every time they set off the fireworks, France surrendered to Germany?

No no no Shepherd, you've got it all wrong.

The French haven't surrenered to the Germans in over 50 years. You need to update yourself. It's Al-Qaeda they are surrendering to now. XD

But I am sure if the Germans invaded armed with KFC knives and forks, the French would be surrendering once more just for history's sake.

(I'll admit I typed this in very poor taste)

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
Another great capitalist victory.

Actually, yes, it is. Capitalist victories are typically marked by satisfied customers and employees who get regular paychecks. Communist and socialist victories are typically marked with mass graves, mass famines, collapsed economies, and a dire absence of goods in government-owned stores.

Second biggest market outside the US? I don't doubt it a bit, that was one of the funniest things I noticed when there. McDonald's restaurants are ALL over France and is usually the first sign you see when driving into a town of any size especially in the rural areas. The only time I stopped at one was in Paris, more out of curiosity but they are just like the ones here.

LOL! Yep, complete with snotty francophones taking your order!
