I was going to post this one in current events, but no, I want to know if anybody can fill me on these elite British soldiers - The Coldstream Guard.

Apparently they're pretty energetic dancers, but they have trouble in fights when they're up against something like this...

Elite? I think they used to be elite but wiki just backed up my guess as far as I can see they're the guys standing absolutely still outside the palace....so im not so sure about the 'elite' tag any more.

Candadian karate people meet British chav culture. Chav culture loses. Too bad about the Guards being infected by this sort of idiocy though. Newbie privates getting involved in this sort of publis stupidity is one thing. Sergeants being involved is fuckin' disgrace, especially for members of an allegedly elite unit.

This is why I give this advice to security guards when training about confrontations on festival sites.

Never assume about the person in front of you. You never know what training they have, how much they have had to drink or what drugs they have taken (or stopped taking).
