I completely agree and it is crap, but it's cheaper to make one big batch of crap and truck it than to make smaller batches of crap all over the place. It's economy of scale.
Microbrew, small local breweries or making your own is the way to go.

There's a difference between taking friendly/teasing jabs and seriously hating another city or region.
To take CKA as an example, I've seen a lot of the first here and very little of the second.

But even "very little" is too much.
