Actually, I think this guy is a scumbag.
But as far as 14 being too young, I thing its a valid challenge. I just finished a tour through the Uniacke House Museum. He was a governor general, a lawyer, a gentleman......yet at age of 23 he married his first wife that was aged 12.
there are tons of examples like this, you guys are more than capable of finding them.
So my point is ' Whats the big deal about 14 years old?' ( Admitedly, I am playing a bit of a devil's advocate but I still think there is a valid aspect to what I am saying'
Just because there's tons of examples, doesn't make it right. I don't think I've ever heard of a happy and stable relationship between two people who have a 15-20+ year difference in age. What exactly do each have in common with one another?
They like sex? Ok.... what else?
Do they listen to the same music? Do their friends relate to the other? Are the families of each getting along and understand the relationship? Is one controlling over the other in the relationship?
Let's say, hypothetically, that the relationship continued. When this girl hit college/university and is surrounded by all kinds of boys and girls her age, all fit and out to screw around with one another..... is she not going to think to herself what the hell is she doing and what is she missing out on?
And this guy, who is clearly a pedophile (all the videos and media of kiddie porn).... what's he going to do when she get's older, an adult, starts getting more hair down there, wrinkles, gray hair, bigger boobs..... An independtant mind???
He's going to dump her ass and look for some other gullible minor to fill their head with crap and do it all over again, while at the same time, she's probably going to start cheating on him with some younger fellas who got more energy and relate to her better then he does.
The only relationships like this that actually do last, usually last due to oppression and control.... mental abuse.... perhaps physical abuse.... hardly because of love, unless the younger person is completely ignorant.
Granted, 5 year or even 10 year differences do tend to work out... when both are much older when they begin the relationship and both have their own independance and maturity developed.
People like this scum bag prey on minors/teens simply because they know their hormones are all out of whack and very emotional..... fill them full of love crap and shower them with as much manipulation as possible and you can make them think they really are in love. Minors are in a very sensitive position at that time of development and people like this jerk-wad shouldn't have any right to screw around with their heads for their own perverted desires.
Wait until their hormones balance out, they gain their adult maturity, start to figure it all out and see what happens.
