I must be a cynic, because it sounds like he actually expects to see that $5.2 billion spent on new LAVs to appear in the next year and a half.
Even if Harper (or his successor if we have an election soon) doesn't cancel it/change the priority level in 6 months, it sounds awfully optimisitic to get those vehicles in such a short timeframe.
Military procurement always takes AGES...

We aren't to bad off in the Dragoons, but the Strats... *spits* ...are full of nasty officers.
