kenmore kenmore:

Sorry, I can't remember the name anymore. I was there only once, and that was last September.

Well the Forbes list for the 10 largest malls in the world and the West Edmonton as the largest in Canada.. the Asians are heading the pack. with Dubai close behind. Forbes says the largest is the world is in Beijing called The Golden Resources Mall.
obviously named the Golden for the cash it brings in.

Well, here's what my foggy memory was attempting to recall:

2003
Square One celebrates its 30th Anniversary. With 360 stores and services, plus the reclassification of the West Edmonton Mall as an entertainment complex, it is now arguably the largest shopping mall in Canada, at 1,600,491 square feet in retail space, 8,704 parking spaces, an average of 400,000 customer visits per week, and an average of 21 million customers per year. It is also at the heart of the city of Mississauga, a city of 650,000 people, surrounded by the Civic Centre, the Central Library, the Living Arts Centre, as well as the Playdium, the Famous Player/Imax theatres, and multiple restaurants, office towers and condominiums.

Square One is the mall you are thinking of, and its not the largest the Mall in the world. Square One is not even the largest Mall in Canada, or even Ontario for that matter. Even if one was to drop the WEM from the list, there is still "Metropolis at Metrotown" in Vancouver and the Eaton Centre in Toronto ahead of Square One. The Worlds Largest Mall is Called "The Dubai Mall" and its nearly 12.1 million square feet of retail and has 600+ stores, Square One is 1.6 million square feet and has just 360 stores.

I like the Rockies, I have had the opportunity to visit the Bay of Fundy, although I'm sure I'd love it. I love water. Canada really has some of the best scenery anywhere, we really are blessed.

I love going to Parliament Hill every couple years, so I can be closer to the money I earned and immediately lost on nonsense.

My favourite: I love the Marine Museum (Mus'e de la Mer) at Pointe Au Pere, Quebec.

If Sunnyvale Trailer Park isn't on the list then I don't want to be Canadian any more.
