Why not wait and see?

Because this is the way the channel is described...

$1:
Current TV, the user-generated news network founded by Al Gore

It screams bias, which is OK providing we get bias from the other side, as well. So far I get two mandatory 24 news channels in my basic cable package - CNN, and CBC. They're both liberal biased. I'll stop whining if they slip me Fox as well. If they don't, but they inflict Gore TV on me, I'll start getting suspicious. If, however, the Gore channel is pay TV, and not a mandatory watching requirement in my basic cable package, no problem.

Fail

Hehe, you Officer Barbradys crack me up. "Nothing to see here. Move along people."

CNN, and CBC are blatantly liberal biased. If they push Gore TV on me as well, and don't give me Fox, I'm writing a nasty letter to Shaw.

That screaming is your own Bias. It's really simple: Wait, Watch, Decide.

Because Al Gore and the CBC, they've never shown any kind of bias, right? No reason to expect more of the same. Is that what you're saying?

Your Bias is clearly more than theirs.

Could be, but not much. So if I was to get a TV channel would it be out line for you, as somebody equally biased in the other direction, to request some balance?

I mean if some group was ever clever enough to give me a TV channel to run, wouldn't you as a liberal channel subscriber at least want MSNBC added to your package as well? Let's pretend for a sec you don't already have the CNN, CBC, MSNBC, Lefty super-pac.

If they inflict Gore TV on me, I want Fox too. That's my only point.

MSNBC is clearly Left. CBC and CNN are only "Left" to those who are clearly Nutters.

CNN has moved from the left since they did a bit of a "review" a few years ago, not as formal or as in depth as what the BBC did but they did make some adjustments to be a bit broader in their polical perspective.

As for the CBC, I see a bit of balance from time to time but I think it goes with out saying that they deffinately lean to the left. Maybe I'm just "nutter" but there are many who would agree.

I wouldn't mind a channel like Fora.tv or mises.org but ultimately economics is dry unless your Cramer.

The only way not to see CNN has a liberal bias would be if your belief system demanded you believe what they tell you, rather than allow you to judge the actual content.

They tell you they have no bias. That's good enough for some people. Me, I disagree.

Who's that chubby guy? I think his first name is Roland. He manufactures this mock outrage, because people off camera somewhere have apparently been accusing him of having a liberal bias. What's interesting there is there's enough complaints about it that he feels he has to address the issue every few days.

But c'mon, if that guy ever had a private interview with Obama he'd come out of the room with his pants worn out at the knees.

Speaking of chubby. Who's that obese, negro women, with the salt and pepper hair? I think she only has one dress. During the campaign it seemed like she was on CNN every ten minutes. They attach credibility to her I question in a network that claims to be unbiased. She's Obama's own personal Baghdad Bob.

And that Cafferty guy. Every time there's an issue he's particularly twitchy about you can tell right away where his bias is by paying attention to the internet comments from viewers he selects to air. Just check that out for yourself the next time there's something like a Sarah Palin story. Tell me you don't see a bias.

Or how about when they do a panel discussion, and they want you to believe the opposite viewpoint is going to be represented. The conservative representatives they find will either be these token middle of the road by name only Republicans, who are more liberal that the actual liberals, or they'll dig under a rock somewhere for the lunatic fringe.

Then there's Susan Roesgen. She's not even supposed to be editorializing. She's supposed to be an on the spot objective reporter. Remember this one though?

Here's what made it to CNN via Roesgen on the tea party tax protests.

Here's the bit of her on the spot reporting she cut out. Hang around for the lady in the black coat...

And how's this for a double standard?
