Polar bears should be a our national animal not the stupid beaver.

They are vicious, mean, and nice to look at. Just like me.

Now I am not saying I don't like beaver, just not as the national animal, should be more like the national pastime.

Have you ever tried to capture a beaver they are just as vicious, the beaver is also one of the most industrious animals in the animal kingdom, changing their environment to better suit them.

When I was a kid, our family dog had the shit ripped out of him by a beaver, when he went swimming in its pond. They'll come up from below and attack. We actually had to take him to the vet for stitches.

I read in PC Mag that electronics draw power even when not on use and we can as a whole greatly reduce our personal consumption by doin 1 very easy thing.
Plug all electronics into power bars with shut off switches, when you aren't watching the TV or playing on the Xbox, shut off the switch on the power bar.
I started doing this after I read the article and presto, $30/month reduction on my power bill, if we all did this we would probably be saving a shit load of $$$ and greenhouse gas emissions.
While this solution won't save the planet, it's a step in the right direction, so have at it folks and shut the tree huggers up.
