RUEZ RUEZ:
Consider it a carbon tax for alcohol.

You are right: beer is a source of carbon dioxide

No one who shows up and works is going to stay at minimum wage for any length of time and raising the bottom will raise the bar all across the labor market. Small businesses, like private liquor stores are the ones least likely to absorb such increaces.
All the more for the big unions, the real masters of the NDP.

BC Liquor stores have a very good website:

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
Vote B.C. Liberal,

You do understand that they are different, right?
..but hey.. thanks for participating.

:| Are you an incompetant snappy asshole in real life too?
Who makes comments out of thin air in a bizzare attempt to flash your internet ego?

Yes, I know they are different. To be honest, neither is really good for B.C.
I do actually prefer NDP getting in, the Liberal comment was a joke.

That was a joke?
Do you even live in BC?

The only joke is the fact that someone who hasn't followed BC politics and has no stake in this election, is giving advice.

I prefer the premium import beers from Mexico(insert bad joke here) and last week I paid $14 for a six pack....if that goes up plus the price of limes, I may have to switch to water...lol.

On another note, this is just one more reason not to vote NDP and I sure as hell won't vote Liberal. I moved here in 1995 and after all of those years under Ralph Klien in Alberta, I have never been impressed by BC Politicians, so I am voting Green just because I can!!!

They can raise it as much as they want,it gets too expensive and i'll start brewing my own.
I'm going over to my buds garage now to maybe help put the engine in his hot rod or just stand around bullshitting with a cold one like Hank Hill.

At our gas station some really cheap brands will go for about $17 a 24 pack. Oh BTW I decided to look for Blue and found a 6 pack for $6.99 (imported). Otherwise Heineken will go for about $13 a 6 pack.

Does anyone know any imported (good) brands that they sell in the states? Because when I look I don't know what beer is from where. Except for local brands.

Canadian Beer in the States is not Canadian Beer, doesn't matter what they put on the label.

I think the alcohol content of beer in the US is w/w (weight) while in canada it's v/v (volume). Is it true ? (alcohol weights less then water so w/w = less alcohol)

If you want to really get screwed for beer go to small town Saskatchewan, if there no gov't board store you have to buy it from the local bar, 18 Blue was $36 at Strasbourg, stopped for a 6 pack at North Battleford 6 blue was $16 at the Beaver beer store, if the town does have a board store they jack up the prices after they close.

BTW I was in Ontario 20 years ago and the bars didn't sell beer is it still that way? :?:
