If both teams were playing top of their games, no excuses, Vancouver versus Calgary would be an awesome series to start the playoffs. There would be blood.

Well, of course I'd like to see these two play each other in the Western Conference Final. Keep the Canadian teams in until the end, I say. I've always loved the Calgary / Vancouver series (what's the plural of series anyways?)

I just love when Willie Mitchell raps those long arms around Iginla, and attaches himself there until Iginla makes it to his front doorstep, and says, "Time to go home Willy".

No, but seriously, how many fights have Mitchell and Iginla had, because Willie won't let Jerome be a superstar on his watch? I love watching that battle.

Jerome Iginla is one class act. There's a lot of Canucks fans hate the Calgary Flames (myself inculded), but I've yet met one who couldn't like Iginla. Willie Mitchell is a plumber. Does his job, day in, day out, and does it well.

Ohlund is strating to look like a pylon of Murzyn-like proportion.

And am I the ONLY one that likes Crawford as a colour man?

I like Iginla. I like Mitchell too. Also a class act. That's why it's always fun to watch those two go at it like pit pulls.

True, but also, I think that may be an underestimation of his invaluable service - against Calgary in particular.

I didn't notice that, but I did notice you don't hear his name as often in the play by play. The pylon guy I've noticed is Sundin, but only because it's constantly being drawn attention to. However I was watching last game, and even though there was clumsiness, it seemed like he was getting more chances, and sooner or later those are going to start to find the target, and go in, I think.

I don't know. I know who Crawford is of course, but I don't make the colour man connection. Is he the one with the squeaky voice? There's one there on sports net who irritates the hell out of me.

Fathead Mackenzie the most irritating one for me. But he sure knows his hockey, I'll give him that.

MacKenzie does indeed know his stuff. It's Dreger that bugs me.

Flames and Nucks will be 3rd and 4th (either order) with Chicago's freefall so I don't think it matters much.
