How is that logical fallacy ? Totalitarian state = no term limit. So having no term limit is an element of totalitarism. That's pure logic.
No you claimed a connection between socialism and totalitarinism and no fixed terms. A socialist does not a totalitarist make. If you want to draw parallels then why not include militarilism? Totalitarian states are militaristic in nature with large militaries to support the state. Does that mean that all large military states are totalitarian?
Does that mean the US is? Does that mean that Canada must avoid a large military to avoid this?
You must be careful when you draw parallels lest they be used against you.
No fixed terms is no different then our system, or the UKs, or Australia for that matter. None are totalitarian and some are considered socialist.
By the same logic large militaries can be considered an element of totalitarianism. The US and UK must be considered.
Pure logic indeed.
