It's tangent to the topic however and I've already spent too much time on it.
I guess my point is that letting these thugs run free to kill each other is crazy.
That doesn't work in Mexico or Columba so why would it work here.

What would work is a large mandatory penalty for gun crimes.
Build more prisons or fence off Baffin Island but we need to show that we won't tolerate this on our streets.

Chuck Cadman...one of the only MP's I've ever respected, even more so when he still won his seat as an Independent. Wish we had more like him in Ottawa, an "average" citizen representing his/her "average" Canadians. Maybe budgets would be more balanced and justice would be done.

Big deal so I knew the guy...did I say anything about whether he was or wasnt a victim...Even if someone chooces a bad path I dont completely dismiss them as a human or dismiss the memory of them before. Some choose a bad path and make it out unscathed, but not many.

There needs to be mandatory sentencing for gun related crimes. There also needs to be more action by all levels of government to shut gangs down...but big money can buy some people. Hell look at the H.A., ever wonder why they never do time. The judicial system is as corrupt as the gang members themselves.

Youth also need to be mentored by role models that arent all about material possessions and who wears the most bling.
