Well, its not that hard to get that "attitude".
When you are being told regularly that services are not "serviced" here, because the funding is not sufficient, your kids get denied ESL classes, because the funding isn't there, potholes haven't been filled for ever, and you read a story about the "bad weather and closed schools due to snowfall" while we have had an average of a ft a day... Don't ya think it is pretty easy to think the LM is kinda... whining about nothing?
You think I was used to snow? Not really. Do you hear me bitch about it? Not really. Shit happens.
My feeling is the funding should go where there's a need. How much of a need is there for funded ESL classes in your school district?
But the rest of your post sounded exactly like what you're complaining about.... you've never lived here, yet you're free to join in with the complaints because that's what you do there.
I get it now.
we have 1 ESL teacher for 2 Schooldistricts. How many newcomers do you think are here, when the one ESL teacher does not have time to teach ESL?
I am not complaining at all. I was explaining my "attitude" that I have according to you.
I'm glad you get it. Saves me from doing some more explaining
