Then of course there is the theory that civilization started in Tihuanaco in South America or that the Mound Builders (archeological sites on the Mississippi and the Great Lakes) arrived by boat well before the migration from Siberia.

Wouldn't the first Canadian be the first baby born in Canada, presumably on July 1, 1867? :?

Nope! The '1st Canadian' designation would have gone to the Prime Minister of the newly formed Canada, my great, great, great, great Uncle, Sir John A. Macdonald! :lol:
