jason700 jason700: mtbr mtbr: "With much of Western Canada in a deep freeze, Lethbridge reached a record low of -34.4 C about 6 a.m. Monday, according to Environment Canada. That beats the old record of -32.8 set on the same date in 1964. As cold as it got in Lethbridge, it was still colder in other areas of the province, where several more records were set. Claresholm recorded a -35.9 early Monday, breaking the old record of -32.2 set on the same date in 1964. Waterton’s temperature dipped to -35.1 compared to the old record of -27 set in 1979, and the temperature in Medicine Hat dropped to -36.1, down 2.2 degrees from the old record set in 1964. The winner, however, is Banff, which recorded a temperature of -41.8, making it the coldest location among Canada’s provinces." -41.8 yup sounds like Global Warming. all these records are significantly below the previous ones.... Sorry to tell you but Alberta is NOT the whole globe. No, but it is part of it.

Yup, it's freezing here. My dog ran out, pooped at the bottom of our deck and turned around and ran up the steps to get back in. He's a golden retriever (loves outside) and usually goes out of the yard back in the bush. That's how cold it is. I hope it's over soon.

Vancouver area is chilly but not unbearable. It has been worse than it is right now. Other areas are experiencing much colder temperatures. Winter (almost!) in Canada and it's cold, go figure! My boss decided that our place of work would not be open tomorrow since Vancouver is expecting a whopping 5cm of snow. Whoopee! Oh well, any day I do not have to get up at 6:30 am is a good day so I'm not protesting. Besides 5cm of snow in Vancouver can be considered disasterous, given the general inexperience of Vancouverites on how to cope with it!

Sorry to tell you but Alberta is NOT the whole globe. no but Western Canada is an awful big chunk, but of course a piece of land that size in a permanent freeze does nothing to counter a few chunks off ice melting in an arctic summer. Global warming hippies always counter with a feeble argument

It is snowing now in the Vancouver area. How about that a local forecast was actually right for a change!

I definitely would not want to be in the rush hour Wednesday morning....rush hour!!! Latest forecast: $1: The Lower Mainland was under a snow warning Tuesday, with at least nine cm of the white stuff expected to fall overnight and into Wednesday

Global Warming is a misnomer. Climate change is a better way of describing things. Some areas will get cooler, Canada and northern Eurasia specifically. $1: I definitely would not want to be in the rush hour Wednesday morning....rush hour!!! It's nasty in Lotus land because you get 9 cm of the heavy wet shit, rather than 9cm of the lighter fluffy stuff that falls on the drier prairies. The stuff in BC tends to pack down more and turn to ice.

Surrey, Delta to Richmond was easy. Worst part was the train crossing arms that were down for no reason.
Definately hard to sell global warming when it's unusually cold out. Might be the computer models that they base this whole lie on were wrong?
