RUEZ RUEZ: Heavy_Metal Heavy_Metal: ugh for f*ck sakes Tricks.....INTERNET FORUM....NOT PHD THESIS....man There is a reason for basic rules of English. It's so people can read it without getting a headache. true, but if the brain can decipher words where only the first and last letter are right, then a misplaced period or comma shouldn't be a mind numbing problem.

Brenda Brenda: I do think though, that public transit in this country should be a hell of a lot better...
Canada's problem is a small population base scattered across a huge country. That doens't lend itself to having a good public transportation system. Having a great system in Tokyo or London is possible, but try justifying it in small towns/cities. Edmonton spends millions every year on ours and it's still inadequate. Add in that most cities/towns are geared to the automobile and it just gets worse.

Heavy_Metal Heavy_Metal: Tricks Tricks: kenmore kenmore: People are putting too much info about themselves, children ie pics on facebook and there are alot of people looking at the info.. it is not secure by any means.. as is nothing on the net IP addresses are easy to track.. but this kind of stuff by creditors is unacceptable. there are laws that protect people.. and it is usually the poor and disadvantaged that are pawns in the usurous rates set by unscrupulous auto finance companies. Honestly, you gotta take some remedial English classes, cause that's just terrible to read. ugh for f*ck sakes Tricks.....INTERNET FORUM....NOT PHD THESIS....man Uh, it's really too much to expect someone to use proper punctuation?

Having a great system in Tokyo or London is possible, but try justifying it in small towns/cities. Edmonton spends millions every year on ours and it's still inadequate. Add in that most cities/towns are geared to the automobile and it just gets worse. I'm half agreeing with this, and half not. Your first line is right on the dot if you're discussing a nation wide transit system (high speed electric rail, for example). But, I believe, that a sophisticated mass transit network for cities is more than possible, and even smaller cities (Windsor, Oshawa, etc etc) can have a powerful bus network using already laid infrastructure. But there really isn't a major push for it, since North Americans love their cars. We are in a society that values its automobiles just as much as our homes, and we've built entire cities around them. Even if major cities, like Toronto, had the best mass transit system available, made with all the bells and whistles, ranging from buses to monorails to subways, I don't think the suburb culture of North America will ever truly die.

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada: A once-popular radio station in Medicine Hat became friends wiyth a user on my friends list on the Teen social networking website "Nexopia" and got access to my Private Blog that my friends can only read.
I had been talking to a member of the radio station's staff for a few weeks, and quoted all our conversations. I was never a fan of their station, and the Staff Member was rather angry at me because of my discontent about the music station. It wasn't hard to get soem offensive slurs out of him.
I posted these, and hge eventually threatened to sue me for libel. I stopped.
But in all honesty, i don't blame him for being angry. Users off my friends list actually started claling intot he station and harassed many of the staff members, specifically the one I talked with. They even called him at home, yelled at him at sponsered events, etc. It was a slight mob-movement.
But yeah, you can definitely trust peopel to use any means nessisary to get what they want.
The internet is a doorway into your life. remember Mr. Canada, can't be sued for slander or libel if the statements you are making are true. If you are quoting what he has said, you are in the clear

I didn't say there wasn't, but that has nothing to do with what we are talking about. Our brain have trouble distinguishing sentences when the punctuation isn't clear, it causes us to slow down. It's also why if you wrote out something without any spaces in it, it's hard to read because there isn't a proper flow.
