After Sept 11 2001 Jewish emigration from Europe to Israel increased for the first time since the decade immediately following World War 2. Anti-Semetic violence and vandalism also skyrocketed in the same time period. Some if it can obviously be blamed of the ghettoized Muslims immigrants that the Europeans have done nothing to educate or assimilate. Considering, however, that Europe is also the birthplace of skinhead culture a lot of the intimidation and violence can be seen a being directly attributable to the neo-fascists/neo-Nazis as well. That European politicians of both the left and right regularly condemn Israel and Zionism in the worst and most vile manner possible in order to sway Muslims both at home and in the Middle East also ratchets up the tensions as well.
