Well after finding out they are getting 8 billion I think it's time the rest of Canada had a referendum. Are we getting our money's worth?

Maybe more voting seats should head our way. Want money? We want representation.

well poutine and maple syrup kept me alive for a couple of years,
and that wailing cow can stay in Vegas !

overall, i still have to say yes, we are.
but i am biased ;)

I would also say its not a good sign that Ontario now needs help.

Masochistic tendencies should not be kept to oneself. If you want that standard of living, move to Yemen.

Real smart. Hope for a Province to go broke that at this time is keeping your Province from starving. Where would that leave you? Your paycheck depends on government funding. Which, from the looks of things lately, depends on taxes coming from oil rich Provinces. Yep, real smart.

Here's a couple of question for all you political and economic pundits.

What if, given the current equalization formula and downward spiraling economic trend, all Provinces become "have not" provinces.

Do we rob from the poor to pay the poor, or does the system fail and every Province has to live within their own means? [?]
