And if she missed she would be charged with murder.

I think if she "accidentily" shot hwanker no jury in Canada would convict her.

Might even be an OoC in it for her.

Thats not whats wrong here, a man driving a bus should not have the responsiblity of supreme justice. I am in the military and I am a bad shot with a handgun, what do you think your adverage bus driver would be? Are we going to have bus driver hand gun training schools? Hell the RCMP didnt even shoot the suspect when they stopped the bus. Now saying we should arm someone to shoot another person on a crowed bus? Give your head a shake man.

Get out and fire some hand guns then, jeeze my wife could pick this POS off with a 9mm at 10'

And if she missed she would be charged with murder.

so fucking what ?

if she killed the POS she'd be running the LPC. and if the sun comes crashing into the earth tomorrow we all die.

What has come to a country when everybody has a "WHAT IF" oh yeah it becomes Europe.

Had it happened in Texas or one of any other similar states that allow properly vetted people to carry concealed this would have had a different outcome.

I can tell you something if you pull a fire arm out and point it at somebody point blank and end up shooting somebody 2 feet to the left or right you deserve to be in jail for pulling the gun out in the first place.

I can say for 100% she would have plugged the POS right in the head. I've seen her take out gophers at 50 feet with a glock 17 - 19.

enough with the "WHAT IF's"

Then you know nothing about the case. The victim was pounced on in a surprise attack and stabbed repeatedly in the neck before anybody could even look up let alone pull a gun out, assess the situation and shoot the correct person.

I know the case very well thanks

No you don't. If you did you would have read about how everybody was taken by surprise and that seasoned police officers said the passengers did the right thing and that the odds of anybody being able to intervene in time were "non-existent".

No. Even the police were saying it wouldn't have made a difference. The attack came without warning. Unless somebody was sitting on the bus physically holding a gun trained on the perp then nothing could be done.

In the end its just baseless speculation designed to bolster a political opinion about carry and conceal laws.

That side always argues that an armed citizen would be able to stop these events easily by very calmly and cooly shooting a rampaging perp with no collateral damage whatsoever.

That doesn't happen even with well trained cops and soldiers but somehow johnny accountant with his twice a week visits to a shooting range will become Charles Bronson ala death wish.

They never ever think that more people may day, including innocent bystanders when some vigilante wannabe panicks at the site of an armed man bearing down on him and starts firing blindly in his direction only to cap some sleeping 19 year old college student and a 37 year old mother of three who accidentilly stepped in the way of the firing line.
