stokes stokes:
Explain, with the use of references, how this is Harpers fault?

References be damned, its always Harper's fault.

I alrerady pointed that out, but he(Rev Blair) refused to address that point. It's more fun for the left wing nuts to blame the evil minority government for all the societal ills.

Glad to see you are just as fucked up as the rest of the Liberals on this site, I'm ok with that though but I will accept a beer from you after the election is over and Harper is still PM!!

RUEZ RUEZ:
So Quebec won't ratify the constitution but they want to be recognized as a nation in it. Keep dreaming.

I wonder, is this what Duceppe was hoping would happen?

Duceppe: Mr Harper, I demand you enshrine Quebec nation in the constitution!
Harper: Okay.
Duceppe: Thanks, the Bloc is now disbanded, will the people of Quebec please vote for your Conservative candidates

Even some members have some critiques about the Bloc.

CTV CTV:
A group of former Bloc Quebecois politicians is speaking out against the party.
Five ex-MPs say the Bloc has lost its relevance and has become a lobby group for Quebec's unions.
Several of the ex-MPs are now supporting the Conservatives.
They say the Bloc was never meant to be a permanent fixture in Ottawa.
It comes a few days after an ex-Parti Quebecois minister, Jacques Brassard, accused the Bloc of being a clone of the NDP.

well seeing that independence is a dead or dying issue, there isn't too much unifying the members of the BQ. hopefully they'll revert to their political and economic alliances. When Lucien Bouchard became head of the PQ I had to give my head a shake, because here was a right of centre conservative heading a left of centre party.

ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog:
Dragging the Canadian flag through the street and wiping their asses with it seems to be a common tradition on St. Jean Baptiste day in many of the cities and villages of Quebec. It stopped making the news because it became so commonplace.

I have been to years of St.Jean celebrations, and have yet to see someone mopping the streets or wiping their ass with the Canadian Flag.. I have seen some hard nosed separtists damage one in Montreal, that was during the Trudeau era.
However the separtist movement is dying and Quebecers are turning to better and more important things. News has it that the bloc will only send a handful of members to parliament this time and they have becme redundant

I think Quebec should pay back the $500 billion in tranfer payments, first.

We could use it to wipe out the Canadian Deficet.

Is that a pass ? you went to grade 5... 60% was a pass wasn't it? I forwarded your hate email for consideration.. you might hit 80% but that would be the best grade you ever made.. ;)
