Those same kind of documents seem to be good enough to allow people to immigrate into Canada and the United States from those countries.

Obama lived in Indonesia and had citizenship there.

You must be born in the United States or on U.S. foreign soil, such as a military base or territory. such as CNMI, Guam.. etc.

This is the very reason Governor Schwarzenegger could never become President of the United States.

I am no fan of Obama. However, I do not see how they can hold the Indonesia thing against him. They moved there when he was, what, 5 or 6? He was not old enough for him to make an informed decision to renounce his citizenship. Is there even a record of him renouncing it? If your parents told you at age 5 or 6 to do something like that would you argue the fact? At age 6 he would not have even understood what citizenship even meant.

If he is elected, I certainly do hope people set aside their bipartisanship and rally behind the democratically elected President.
