I was at the race, awsome race FYI but I thought the NasCar was more entertaining. There was a non profit RCMP band there too. ie they do it on the weekend. Also, the two "soldiers" that he was complimenting, were simply photographers, not infantrymen. But I suppose in the CF everyone is a rifleman first, right? (lol)

It's interesting that Simmons almost ended up being being Rabbi Witz(or klein). It has been remarked that when they played the bible belt and the fundies used to call them Satanists and quote the bible at them , he (Simmons) could out quote them (old testament).
