anyways, why use a frigate to house JTF2? why not have them on the ground right from the get-go? more efficient than using a warship to house em. the frigates are anti-marine combat ships, not troop carriers.

using the destroyers makes sense for air defense.

In my opinion, you're on the map once you become a target for a Russian nuclear warhead. I'm sure Vancouver and one or two more BC cities are on there. If you are worth a nuclear warhead, you're pretty much important.

i can think of what the billions of dollars spent that can go to....social housing=to offset the homeless problem in this PROVINCE...to treatment to offset the ADDICTION problem in in this province...and the fact that the general population cannot afford a ticket to any of the games...those are just a few of the issues. Our cost of housing has gone up at least a 1/4 since the announcement of the games could be another. And the fact that i am a taxpayer in this province that does not support an event that just boasts the politicians could be another. Is that enough or would you like more?

I dont want the Olympics...never have...the rest of Canada may be proud of the fact but are you taking the brunt of it? ...i dont think so.
