Streaker Streaker:
LMAO! No wonder you're such a grumpy one.

A developer wants to go ahead with this project - presumably he knows what he's doing. Maybe he sees a market where you can't.

Anyhow, if some people want to live in this kind of home, why do you wish to deny them that choice?

Oh yeah that's right. It sucks so bad living in the sixth richest county in the United States of America. Oh God the horror. Stupid dumbass, I was "bitter" because you're a moron, thinking that I wouldn't know what my own city wants.

The developer can do whatever he wants, but in my opinion it is a horrible idea, since guess what? There are nicer condos, with more space, with better designs, that are not selling. Condos in Detroit lay vacant since anybody with $190,000 move to Macomb and Oakland counties, and commute to Detroit. Since you can get a beautiful 2 story house, with a nice yard and maybe even a pool for the same kind of cash. The developer is probably only peddling this idea here because the municipal government is corrupt.

Nobody wants to live in that kind of home when you can get better for cheaper. But forgive me for knowing my own city. Don't pretend you know about what city residents want when you don't live here. Those who live in Detroit can't afford 190,000 condo, those who can afford it move North and West, or possibly live in Windsor.

So your suggestion is to put all the well-off in the burbs. Isn't that what got Detroit into this mess in the first place?

If Detroit can't renew itself and attract a more prosperous tax base, the restoration of that train station becomes far less likely.

PS You actually live in the CITY of Detroit?

God no, the problem of Detroit was because of its reliance of one industry instead of diversifying, city corruption, among many others. Once again, overconstruction of condos that already happened in DETROIT, are vacant, since nobody lives in Detroit

The city is restoring itself, four new casinos, a beautiful new waterfront that rivals Windsor. Revitalizing Greektown and Mexican community.

Dear God you can't read can you? I live in Detroit, and go to Windsor to school. So yes. Fuck man shut up. Once again stop even trying to discuss Detroit before you even know the full story instead of your love for the idea of these "artistic" building idea. What the fuck do you want? An address?

No address. But from the sound of it you live in a suburb of Detroit rather than in the city proper.

Either way, you aren't located in "Canada's tip".

The size isn't much different than a mobile home so I can't see what the fuss is about.
Other than it's been proven that these sorts of low rent "workers" housing always turn into the most frighteningly depressing slums around.

They use them as stores in What was once Russia but in that area they are lucky to have running water or anything civilized.Theres thousands of abandoned ones in Nunavut, even the Innuit wouldnt live in one of those sea cans. They do make nice storage facilities though,we have one on our land we paid $1500.00 for and you can park a mess of quads and sleds in them.
