Since when is -6 deep freeze? 8O
It's a deep freeze for fruit buds at the end of April - the article actually says "deep fruit freeze".

Tying single weather events as indicative of claimte is like pointing to a single cigarette and saying that it was the one that caused the cancer.

That sheet of ice cracking in an Antarctic summer would be another example, only difference is that "crack" would be heard around the world.

That's just how alarmists typically define weather conditions.

-6C is a "deep freeze".

and 20C is "alarmingly comfortable".

I'm surprised that you would call me an alarmist. I believe all I've ever posited is that the planet is warming and humans are a significant contributior to it. On the other hand, you have accused AGW proponents of starving children and have called for anyone who supports AGW to be jailed. And I'm the alarmist?

Well, I dunno, but is this not just a normal thing? Happens almost every year, so I am kinda surprised they are so stunned about it. Or maybe only those two were?

It doesn't happen "almost every year".

Oh? Well, it does in Europe.

I have been told this winter was a long one anyway, started earlier, ended later.

It is their job, it is their business. And now they have a great excuse to drive up the prices (again ;-))

It probably will happen every year from now on...because of the new "ice age" we're entering. :D
