sasquatch2 sasquatch2:
Wada

$1:
Try breathing CO2. Sure plants need CO2 and killing vast ammounts of plant life while adding more and more CO2 to the atmosphere is ok how. Remember those plants provide us with the oxygen WE NEED.

I would recommend breathing high concentrations of oxygen either...your comment is sophistry. There is no evidence that 100 times the level of CO2 is harmful to plants.....in fact our current levels of oxygen were provided by the accelerated growth of that long past era.

CO2 is not a polutant at many times the current concentrations. There is no evidence of climate forcing other than some tofu eaters wet dream. There is no doubt at this point that SOX/NOX is not harmful.

In that "long past era" there were more plants and many less humans than at present, but what the heck eh, humans leave no footprint, right.

Generally balance is an inner ear thing but with the Cons it's a problem that goes a wee bit deeper.

Did this come to you on the spur of the moment OR did you spend half of the night awake in bed contemplating it?

The entire CO2 thing is simply a distraction away from the very real and toxic damage the Chinese are doing. The left would still blame the west but I think we should slap a huge pollution tax on all Chinese made goods.

What? Did I ever, ever, EVER make any type of claim even close to that? What the hell are you talking about?

Here's a newsflash, bub--we are sending them plenty of money quite apart from Kyoto. Have you looked at the trade deficit lately?

In the global village, China is the factory for North America and Europe. Considering that most of the stuff that we buy, comes from China it hardly seems fair to throw all the blaem on them. One of the reasons we have the standard of living we do is because Chinese prodycuts aree so sheap, and one of the reasons they are so cheap is that China doesn't have much in the way of environmental regulation.

Yeah so we should let them get away with everything because they are shipping their crap to Canada?

And no it's not. we have a standard of living because we don't want to live in a shithole with black smoke coming out of every stack and we aren't piss poor with 1.8 billion people trying not to starve to death.

Your right of course, our worry is with the US who didn't. When The US takes as much interest in the enviroment things will really start to happen. In the meantime don't hold yer breath, eh.

And to give credit where it's due, even Mr. Bush is slowly coming around.

Some people would have been happier if we signed and not stood by it? Like all of the other signies.
