I am aware as any the pride knows no pain but my take on high heels is they are as barbaric as foot binding. Ever look at a woman's feet after a day in these medieval like torture devises? Toes jammed to gether etc. Brutal!

Just like any other pair of shoes, you need to try on high heels before you buy them and make sure that they fit right. There is nothing worse than uncomfortable shoes, regardless of heel height. i can not say that my feet don't ever hurt after wearing high heels but they might hurt too if i were wearing flats or runners.

I have to agree with you Kitty I've had heels I can run or dance in. Then there are some just walking is an ordeal.

I can't believe that I used to wear heels like that 20 years ago!!! Now just the thought of it makes my feet hurt. (Still have a pair down in the garage somewhere to prove to my daughter that yes, once upon a time, Mom WAS cool...)

Actually i was just thinking the same thing (well from the opposite perspective I mean ) Theres something that just kind of romantic when a girl wraps her arms around your neck and looks up into you eyes. Yes I'm tall but I'm not a giant or anything, 6' 1".
