like I said this headline will never appear there...

Fife won't be able to squeeze it in between his "knuckle dragging" comments.

Any comment on why they went to Toronto to find a judge instead of one down the street.

Wasn't it an awful Liberal-appointed judge who looked into the Sponsorship scandal too?

I've initiated DDM because I'm not happy with any political parties. If you are not happy with the media, start a new one.

ridenrain ridenrain:
It would have been a bigger suprise if you're posts were relivent and had a point.
I think we have gone over this before rain, ----- the government appoints the judges and the Liberals have been the government for about 27 of the last 40 years. If you wish to change how judges are appointed, now is your opportunity. I am sure Steve will want to help.

OMG, someone wanted a search warrant and applied for one to a judge that would sympathize with their position! I though that only happened in the movies and TV crime dramas....

Ask them the question first, that is good journalism.

I did. You think they didn't go down the street because they couldn't find a Liberal appointed Judge. You know that for a fact eh! No appointed judges in Ottawa. I wonder why? So-- whom do you suppose Elections Canada is responsible to? The Liberals? Or could it be Parliament? Who was P.M. when the present Chief Electoral Officer, Marc Mayrand, was appointed?

You will need a lot more power than you have if you want to change the way the judiciary power is insulated from the legislative one.

You did...looks like you figured out who "they" were....amazing!
It proves Conservatives aren't partisan with their appointments, unlike the Libs.

All the Liberal appointed judges in Ottawa were probably too busy signing pardons for their liberal friends....all those pot smokers and pedophiles.

and judging from your well rounded and informative post around here I am sure it will be a welcome addition to the already useless and corrupt parties we currently have federally. Welcome to yet another pointless party with no hope of accomplishing anything and likely have a constitution that mandates all leaders must be francophone as well!

yes welcome

do you even know what a redneck is?

so you think tough on crime is redneck?

you think lower taxes is redneck?

you think getting rid of (another) billion dollar boondoggle gun registry is redneck?

you think lowering the GST is redneck?

you think improving and re-equipping the CF is redneck?

you think senate reform is redneck?

well if it is, then I SURE AS FUCK am a redneck! I think you will find a hard time arguing against ANY of those points.
