The Pope enrages these idiots, just because he is the leader of Catholics. His baptism of a Muslim turned Catholic convert enrages them, his quotation of a Byzantine emperor enrages them. It doesn't matter what he does, the only thing that won't enrage them is if he is surrenders Catholicism to Islam. Guess what? They'll always be enraged, but if ONE terrorist doesn't blow up a building because he left Islam, then boom its a victory. Its a symbolic gesture to show the forgiving nature of Christianity, just like those Fatwas some "moderate" Imams post condemning terrorism is symbolic.

Did it ever occur to you, that this whole terrorist thing might be the Crusade of Islam? That Islam wants the same as Christianity wanted: Rule the world?
