There's lots of commentary around that the Radarsat is important to Canada, important technology. That's is there's lots of commentary around by people that have never given it a thought. It has almost no use, that is why it is explained as good for maintaining soveirnty in the high artic. There's no explanation of other uses because there aren't any. If you want aerial photographs use a Cessna.

This is the first time any federal government, Liberal or Conservative, stepped up to block any sale of a Canadian company since the late 80's.

Bruce: I agree with you. Canada dosen't need a satellite of it's own to keep tabs on it's own property. It needs boots on the ground or ships in the sea.
