Aaaah, look at all the haters above. LOL
1. QBC, I am surprised you hang around on east Hastings?
2. Ridenrain, just because your supplier cut you off.. now now.

 ...I used to hand around in a lot of places in Vancouver when I was young. Many of them would have been considered not the high light places to be...But they were fun at the time.

Unfortunately, and not proud of it. 20 years ago I use to hang around that area as well. No. 5 Orange is very convenient to that area. Cheap Pizza by the slice and easy women.

Aren't you supposed to be protesting something or other at the art museum steps instead of wasting time on the library's computer? It's obvious that good, professional protesters are getting harder to find these days.

[huh]

Protesting Vancouver is #1. WTF? I use to live there, I know it. Best place in Canada to live, hands down.

In the world, well as far as health goes, medical care and climate yes. But it does have a few negatives when up against other cities from around the world.

But in Canada. Vancouver IS #1. [flag] [trumpet]

BC= Bring Cash. I prefer the Island(I grew up in Colwood) and places further up the Valley, around Chilliwack and Aggasiz. My grandparents used to live in Abbotsford and the way that the area has developed, from the time I was a child is astounding. I was there last in February 2005. The same can be said about where my aunt and uncle's house is out by Royal Roads. Interesting thing is when I cruised through Belmont Park, our old house(PMQ) is still there. 8O

It's funny you say that. I just found a nice apartment with a washer, dryer, and fireplace in Langley, BC.

While I live out in a cow patch town in Alberta and pay $800/mo, the new apartment would only be $650/mo.

Of course if you live smack in the middle of the west end, your going to pay, but at least the rual area have not been priced out.

I don't know man, there is the contractor in town building his 3rd building. The first 2 he is still in court over for shabby work.

His 3rd building is 80% sold and well the boards on the back side of the building have gaps between them, the cement was laid down without sucking out the water, weakening the foundation.

I think everyone is in such a mad rush to grab up real estate in Alberta they have lost their senses.

$157,000 condo 450 sq foot unit. I saw the construction of the building and I wouldn't take a unit for free.

I feel bad for the people that have been taken. Caveat emptor :?

Don't get me wrong, Alberta is the best province in Canada to make money. If anyone can't make it in Alberta, I don't know where they could do better.
