I agree with you bodah... smoking should be illegal... but I am glad the govt of ontario is doing this... kids have to be protected ..even it is from their ass hole parents..

thats right, let's continue to perpetuate the nanny state. Lets go one step further and ban smoking parents from having kids at all! Problem solved!

I hear the Ontario Liberal Government are currently hiring.

Requirements are...idiocy, stupidity, limp wrists, blank expressions, knock knees, liplash syndrome, a BA in fawning, and a Masters in Smugness.

These positions are for the new Ontario Ministry of Bans.

1275 positions open, please apply in the third person to the Ontario Liberal Government Backyard Turnstile Building.

Neither are fast food joints like Mc Donalds, or chips for breakfast. Are we gonna ban that too?

Holy crap, this whole discussion starts over again.

When will we be able to just use common sense?

You know what? The government should ban sex, cause it could give you some disease, or children you don't know how to take care of (oh, yeah, they should install a mandatory course for everyone who wants kids ), they should ban all kinds of foods (mwah, snacks) and restaurants, they should ban Timmies and other coffee joints, because of the coffee or the timbits that might give you a risk of high bloodpressure, they should ban cars because of the emission... All I mentioned above is what kids see, eat, drink or inhale.

They should make it mandatory that kids get breakfast, and fresh fruit everyday. That they exercise and don't spend all day in front of the computer or TV. They should give all kids a bike, skeelers, skis and helmets to go with it, so they can play outside. They should give the kids a place to play safely. (oh shoot, now THAT is all my job...)

I am sick and tired of it, and NO, I don't smoke, and I don't allow people to smoke in my house.

Brenda, you took the words right out of my mouth.
Another useless bill not worth the paper it will be written on.
How do they think they are going to enforce it? Have the kids 'rat' on their parents? Or people looking into cars to see someone smoking and grabbing a cell phone to call 911? Hmmm, didn't Germany and Russia run this way at some point?!? PDT_Armataz_01_41
