I plan to go to university in Vancouver (SFU or UBC...not sure) when I am done High School here in Manitoba, and I'll be moving their the summer AFTER the Olympics.

I'm very happy to hear that Céline is performing in the opening ceremonies at the Vancouver games. She's home grown, World renowned, and has a intergenerational appeal. What is wrong with that? Is this a case of Canadians not supporting their own? Some people just love to hate Céline. Too bad.

Celine doesn't have international appeal she has international name recognition. That doesn't mean people want to hear her sing.
