Don't know if it hit the CKA news radar while I wasn't here, but this is part of the same establishment that hosted the drunk Christmas Eve mob that went out into the streets and assaulted police officers (and resulted in 38 arrests).

Cheers is probably the least rowdy of the group of bars that make up the Dome, though - this is definately not 'typical' behaviour to be expected there from my (limited) experience.

Yeah after all why should you have any concern for fairness or justice

there's a difference between defending yourself at the time or exacting revenge later out of proportion to the original offense

No, I'd continue leaving. If forcibly prevented from leaving, I'd fight my way out. If I had to do that, I can see why you would call the cops, although I wouldn't personally for various reasons. And yes, I realize this is a different situation for women, who (generally) can't fight their way out--but let's be honest here, she was able to get out of there.

Why would I want to make me so dependent, and not fight my own case?

If I can get someone so far they beat this guy up, the day after (because I was in the pub alone, without my brother that I don't have, my father that lives far away, and looking for a bf/husband ), don't you think HE would sue the one who knocked his teeth out of his mouth?
