RUEZ RUEZ:
In all seriousness this ice jam began over a week ago when the temperature reached a low of -29.

And because we aren't the lower mainland, sweet dick all will ever be done about it.
Amen to that sister. Much like the 1800 jobs that were lost here in a week as well.

We're at 500+

Ironic isn't it? Our corner generates 80% of this province's income, yet we're invisible.
Gotta love politics.

Ice-jam in prince George in early december? Impossible....according to the IPCC, Al Gore, Suzuki.....the arctic is ice free so how could there be an ice jam in Prince George.

Maybe it's the smoke from all the burning crosses...........

Could you please show me a direct quote of this?

Forget napalm......that would just make the ice jam dirty---black........

C4 is too expensive......

40% forcite is cheap and effective.

The howitzers in Rogers Pass have been replaced by rocket projectors but in most cases if conditions permit they drop forcite charges from helicopters---much much cheaper.

We could just nuke it. Or Bart's suggestion, target practice. Put targets onto the ice to blow up, and it would clear the ice. Two bird one stone...or bomb.

well it's an ice dam so just think for a sec what would happen if you got it all flowing at once.

The key word here is "Dam"
