Oil! In Saskatchewan! How can I say this...how about,"No shit". Whatever idiot thought that the oil and gas stopped at the border needs to give their head a fucking shake. The main reason behind lack of exploitation and exploration have been the NDP, with them gone, or at least side-lined, it looks like Saskatchewan is about to reap some oily windfall. About time.
It's gas,not oil. Both Alberta and Sask sit on some of the worlds biggest coal seams and coalbed methane. Just ask Encanna or flint energy.
