Yay Bianca! She played a damn good game of tennis. Serena was obviously not at her best but that doesn’t take anything away from Bianca. If she stays healthy she has a bright future ahead of her.

It’s a great day for Canada and Romanians are claiming a bit of the glory as well. Her biggest problem has been staying healthy - for a young player she has already had multiple injuries.

True. But to her immense credit, she bounced back ferociously. From having an imposed four month break to winning 14 games straight since, she’s got the intestinal fortitude to overcome adversity.
