Oui, cela change le son de la lettre, c'est comme un tréma dans les langues germaniques. De plus, c’est la bonne façon d’épeler «français»

No, not smarter... learning a second language is difficult and I think gets even more difficult as you get older. Every other language you learn after that gets easier and easier. Not mixing them all up is the hard part.
