Robair Robair:
You mean by Canadian standards or is there some international system of measure?

Extremely drunk in Canada is pretty much = Extremely drunk in Australia.

But how does it translate to Ireland, or Russia? ;)

Extremely drunk for me would be 20+ drinks...

For me, I judge it by Remembrance Day. If I've been drinking a pitcher an hour + 1 shot of Moose Milk for 12 hours, and can still make it to the Men's room and hit the urinal 80% of the stream, then I'm 'not yet fully drunk'.

When I don't recall whether it was the Mens' or Womans' room, then I'm fully drunk.

Came back fucked up from a job in McMurray once. The self-prescribed PTSD treatment I gave myself was to drink 20 cans out of a flat of 24 beers over the course of about eight or nine hours. That was as extreme about it as I've ever done, and I mean EVER. 8O

That reminds me, if a cop ever pulls you over and asks "How many drinks have you had tonight?", the answer is NEVER "Let me check the case and see how many are left!".

Still barely counts as lightly buzzed in Ireland, Britain, or Russia. 8O

Or Finland... Where those wussy Russians can't drink all day in a sauna and then go for a roll in the snow without having their hearts explode.

Also Poles can drink scary amounts of alcohol.

And in some cases it may vary by season / event. During playoffs for example.

I was in Munich for Oktoberfest once. Germans standing on tables singing at the tops of their lungs at 8 in the morning on the FIRST DAY! [B-o]

Not sure you can apply the same scale there the rest of the year though.

For me it was a staff party. 8 hours. 30 drinks. Walked home. Somehow. Then the next year I was at another staff party, where I drank an indeterminate amount of Budwiser Apple Beer (they are ok, if you have one or two.. but anything over 15 is bad news). I was so drunk I passed out in front of the bar, then woke up vomited, and walked the block to my house. That night was epic.
