That's part how economic warfare works, e.g. follow up on my opinion that we buy Eurofighters or Saabs just to piss off the US. They treat us like this now then they don't get any of our money. If a few thousand at Boeing or Lockheed-Martin get laid off due to Canadian contracts being cancelled then so be it. It's not our problem if they get to experience the consequences from their own free choice to elect a crazed moron to the highest office on the planet. They're not our friends or allies anymore so what happens to them should be meaningless to us.

You don't speak for the country. I've been advocating a higher defence budget and increased spending for NATO. Considering the size of our country and territory we must keep safe, we should up our NATO spending to 2.5%, and dump serious funds into our military before it's too late. Our planes are getting old and falling apart, our ships are soon to need replacements, and so on. This is not a 'ho-hum' issue, this is real. WE HAVE TO DO THIS.

The pros outweigh the cons.

That says it was inevitable when it was actually entire preventable if enough people had bothered to choose more responsibly. It was entirely predictable to anyone who had their eyes open during the election campaign about what kind of a personality and character Donald Trump has. It's not like any of the information regarding his lifelong activities and personal behaviour was being supressed. They knew what he was and what he is, and they deliberately chose to ignore it just to "own the libs". Seriously, it's a major chore now just to share the same air with people this fucking recklessly stupid.
