While I'm all for Keystone, the problem is if it goes ahead, it may very well remove the need for Energy East, which I think is the better pipeline. Energy East would still give us tidewater access, but would also allow us to supply eastern Canada, instead of them importing oil from Saudi Arabia and Nigeria.

Under the 100 MT cap here in Alberta, we simply won't be able to fill all three pipelines, assuming the Trans Mountain expansion happens too.

I say let the Americans use American steel in their country. Then when it fails it is all on them. It will go through no matter how many protests there are because Sir Donald the Orange will force it come hell or high water.
