My portfolio and life was destroyed long ago by the police apparatus. What will be destroyed going forward is the secrecy by which these apparatuses have been stabbing America in the back for some time without accountability or consequence to Canada. They were listening over the last number of years, I imagine this listening will become action.

With this new administration and a desire for change and the election of this candidate; especially with many strong Constitutional Conservatives in senate; maybe the voice of whistleblowers will be heard. Having a fun little war isn't a guarantee of a second term - just ask George H. Bush (the first Bush president). His win in Desert Shield/Storm was the biggest and most convincing since WW2, but he didn't get a second term.

The economy and overall popularity are also big factors.

If the economy tanks or doesn't fulfill a fair number of his promies, you can expect Trump will likely be a one term president too.
