Though I maintain that the overwhelming majority of researchers strive for the utmost objectivity in their work, I must admit that today's announcement of Bayer's purchase of Monsanto is a little unsettling to me.
I'm sure with the help of the same marketing companies that RJR Tobacco used to use, that pesticides, herbicides and GMO products will continue to remain safe for people to eat, and of no risk to the environment. Just like sugar.
