2. There's evidence the alleged crime took place beyond the word of the alleged victim.

Given the state of society today I'm quite sure minor assaults such as this happen quite regularly between any two people in any given city on any given day.

Story number two, however horrible it is, does not take away from the terribleness of story number one. A woman in Ontario is not responsible for the deprivations of three others in Idaho .

But this is not a case of somebody trying to say 2 wrongs makes a who cares.

This is a case of media making a bigger issue of one case over another. It's legitimate to ask ourselves why? Although that particular story may not be the best example, because you can get sidelined in debating the facts in the details. Snopes doubt them, but Snopes is beginning to get a rep for being less than credible themselves.

This might be a better example to illustrate what I'm talking about.

Why are you so skeptical? The police have arrested the attacker, it happened in the middle of a crowded grocery store, nobody has said anything to suggest the Muslim woman with her 4 month old baby was a willing participant.

Because I'm not like you. I don't rush to judge that everyone charged is automatically guilty. This has nothing to do with religion or race. I've been consistent on this on all subjects.

We have 1/3 of the story here.

We have the story of the alleged victim. We don't have the story from the woman charged, we have no security footage and zero witnesses have come forward. A crowded grocery store yet no reports from any witnesses?

Let's let all the facts come forward before we rush to judgement.

Also note that this seems to be happening more frequently with Muslim woman making up stories about being attacked due to their religion.

It happened recently in NYC when a Muslim woman said she was slashed in the face and called a terrorist. She made up the story.

In Toronto, last November, two Muslim girls said they were assaulted and called terrorists on the TTC. Turns out, there was no assault and it was the Muslim girls who made racial comments at the black kids (called them "monkeys") they claimed to have assaulted them.

But of course she's mentally ill, so that's an excuse. And she's just one bad apple. Unlike when Muslims do something, in which case mental illness means nothing and they represent all Muslims.
