True enough. And that's the shame of it because Cosby's message of "speak properly, read a book once in a while, and pull up your goddamn pants before you go out in public" was highly important. It made him a lot of enemies in the community too, who called him an Uncle Tom and now think that their opposition to his ideas has been vindicated by his fall.
