Some people don't like free speech. Besides, he mentioned my famous saying, I just corrected him. There is a difference between a measured response and outright abuses of domestic and International rights/law. Mr. Vickers in my opinion is at least measured and aware of the differences in threat.

Wait until the next president of the U.S is in office, than you will understand just how angry some are with us. We will all be wishing Obama could have a third term, regardless of who wins. For the record, it's not as if we didn't have ample time to correct the errors of our ways. I've certainly not shied away from expressing my experiences with our allies in a direct and honest manner.

Or maybe, he and many other people got tired of a broken record? I've never disagreed with what you say, nor your right to say it. Just that you keep repeating the same mantra over and over and over and over and over again.

It gets boring.

Look at Curt. He wasn't wrong, I agreed with his stance that pot should be legalized, or at least decriminalized. And that appears to be coming true. But he had to rant about it in some thread, several times a day. It got boring. And after a while, people stopped listening. Then they started picking at the decaying corpse.

OTOH, there are probably plenty of forums and other media that also need to be warned about how our allies don't trust us. Maybe spread it around a bit.

Maybe it's best to just put our heads in the sand and the country will go down the road of Ontario, which is as close to a Communist district as you could find in North America, socially and economically. I don't want that.

In the 1960's Communists controlled the means of production. In 2016 they control the means of investment. This loosely defined "investment" is going on in Ontario and we are being swamped. Not to mention controlling who can enter a market by excessive regulations and red tape. It's the oldest trick in the book, sort of like the Russians with holding a permit for Canada to do renovations in Russia. There's more than one way to skin a cat.

I realise that Ireland is in a recession but you'd think that they could at least afford some modicum of security for an event that, by it's historical nature was definitely going to bring some form of protest or conflict.


Having the Canadian Ambassador acting as security isn't what I'd call a responsible response to what any wide eyed 10 year old could have seen coming a mile away.
