House is looking a little Third World these days.

Must be the fish, stinking from the head.

No fists and food flying like they did in the legislative yuan in Taipei.

Sorry but the NDP MP was way over the top with her response. She leaves and then returns with a small speech and seemingly has to stop before she breaks down in tears and agony. If this is the strength of our government than we have some very serious issues.

The PM was right to apologize strongly and there will be political costs for this, but let's not turn this into an exaggeration.

Considering the fact that our allies don't trust us, the RCMP, CSIS and their so-called leaders have created yet another scandal for Canada, I am sure Trudeau has a great deal to be stressed about.

Not much in common with the rather sedate Harper but definitely a throwback to a different Liberal golden age.

Not exactly a molehill Lemmy. Physical contact in Parliament is strictly forbidden, even if unintentional. That said, the Conservative whip and NDP were playing games to stall parliament. Trudeau should not have touched the conservative whip, but then again, the Liberals have a majority and the opposition parties should quit being all butthurt about that.

No matter what the opposition MP's were doing Trudeau has no reason or right to put his hands on anyone. If anyone else grabbed someone like that and tried to forcefully move them they would be facing charges.

Games like that are common in the House. Silly, yet common.

Coming across the floor, telling people to "get the fuck out of the way" and grabbing another member while elbowing another isn't common nor a molehill.

Granted, the NDP MP's are taking this to a new level of bullshit. Getting elbowed in the tit is hardly cry-worthy.
